Privacy Policy
Last updated July 31, 2026
Evolv Bookkeeping is a brand operated by EVO Bookkeeping LLC(“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use evolvbooks.com or submit a quote request, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information you give us
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, your approximate monthly transaction volume, how far behind your books are, and anything you choose to type in the optional notes field. We ask for this so a bookkeeper can scope your books and send you a price.
If you become a client, we collect the financial records needed to do your bookkeeping. Where we connect to QuickBooks Online we do so through Intuit's official OAuth flow — we never receive or store your QuickBooks password.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type and user agent, the page you are on, and the site or ad that referred you. We also read advertising click identifiers from the URL and from cookies — specifically Google's gclid, Meta's fbclid, _fbp and _fbc, and any utm_ campaign parameters.
These identifiers are stored in your browser's session storage for the duration of your visit so that a quote request submitted a few minutes after you arrive is still credited to the correct campaign.
Cookies and tracking
We load Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. These set cookies and record events such as page views, when you begin the quote form, and when you submit it. We use them to measure which advertising actually produces enquiries.
You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker. The site and the quote form work normally if you do.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with:
- Meta— when you submit the form we send a matching server-side conversion event through Meta's Conversions API. Your email, phone, and name are cryptographically hashed before transmission; your IP address and user agent are included so Meta can match the conversion to an ad click.
- Google — analytics and ad conversion measurement.
- Notion — our CRM, where your enquiry is stored so we can respond to it.
- Professional and legal — accountants or advisors acting for us, and any disclosure we are legally required to make.
If you submit a lead form directly on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects that information and passes it to us; Meta's own privacy policy governs their handling of it.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are retained while we follow up and for our business records afterwards. Client financial records are kept for as long as we provide services and then for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.
Your choices
Write to hello@evobookkeeping.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a service for businesses.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and held in access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions go to hello@evobookkeeping.com or (435) 500-5796.
